Yes I saw that he certainly has changed since the last time I saw him yesterday afternoon

Wainwright got in team of the day as well.

IMHO - Stu was the MOM against Lincoln. He started a bit quiet but as the game went on he gained in stature and his ball control skills left many a Lincoln player stranded.

He sprayed the ball around intelligently and when beaten he tried his best to regain the ball. He is also starting to get a great looping header thing going that beats the goalkeeper up no ends.

Starting to show his class now.

the moment for me mick was in second half when he did his old trick of the step over reverse switch past two players
its was the stew of old and which we all applauded on commentary
it was brilliant to see a player playing with confidence and was one of the highlights of yesterday for me
good shout!!!
and to think so many last season on here were saying he was past his best.............
great game from stew and garry hunter in midfield and i thought stanners played his best for ages too
onwards and upwards were rolling..............

I have told you a thousand times not to exaggarate!

I think that is unfair Sean. I dont remember anyone saying Stew was past it TBH.

Maybe you could clarify who the many were?

Personally i think Drummond has always been good in the air, both in defence and attack, particularly when he played for us in the conference, with Wilson and wainwright supplying the ammunition we might be in for a few more goals from Stewart.

IMO, Stewart will match and possibly exceed his goal tally from last season (10 goals) which is fantastic for a midfielder.

I think we all are. Stewart is one of the best players this club has ever had, and continues to be. He is in the form of his life and has improved with age. His precision passing is a joy to watch. Thats why I was surprised about what you said.

I honestly dont remember anyone saying at any time that he is past it.

He is a real contender for Player of the season if he keeps this form up!
