How sweet it was 3-1 down to come back and wipe that smug grin off the faces of those pubesent fans of yours in the east stand
Carlisle ARE NOT a BIG club and might well be playing L2 football next season if the tables anything to go by ;)

Us lot fray Mil'thrup have decided to go by train because we could not agree who would drive!
For other South Lakes folk who might like to take the train...
Oxenholme dept 10.28 Arrive 11.10
Carlisle Dept 18.29 Arrive 19.08
£14 return.
If anyone finds a better option pls post details as we have not booked yet (£14 ain't that bad)

My Trainline says £11.50 for one single then £7 as the cheapest single back. So a £16.50 day return would be cheapest for me.

http://www.thetrainline.com/buytickets/ ... 5127131320

Virgin are quoting £13 out and £5.50 back

This is a direct train from Lancaster so it would'nt be picking Cass up at Oxenholme!

£14 Oxenholme return on Trainline or £15.10 with Virgin ;)

After losing to Carlisle, and Bury losing to Aldershot - can the league match against Bury be brought forward to the saturday of the 2nd round. There'll be a far bigger crowd then.

Are they using the open terrace behind the goal for away fans now or are we in the stand that we were in last time.

I don't think it's half Mark, I'm sure I remember that stand holds more like 5/6000 fans.
I reckon they'll give us the far section, maybe two sections.

Looking at Paulton Rovers away end they are going to have to show their first ever FA Cup 1st round tie at home to Norwich! Sardines and tin spring to mind

Yes, Paulton are on at lunchtime and naturally the mighty Leeds have the teatime kick off! Northwich are on the Sunday ;)

... Of course you are correct Mick, I shall have to get the hang of halves and quarters! ;)

The shrimp faithwell will be in the far part of the east stand, the part of the stand whitch is nearly in Scotland  The stand holds 6500 ,ground capacity 18000. I feel there will be enough room to cater all ;) As for away meeting places ,the rugbyclub is a good bet, right next to Brunton Park.

i think the main priority for the shrimps and carlisle is the league.ithink it will be a good distraction and hopefully a great game and a good day out whoever wins.

Stanley i lived in woolwich for years now i live in Morecambe for nearly 3 years and never did i want to watch them maybe conference football league2.
My step daughter only 11i was planing actually to go charlton carlisle but fallon instead wanted to go morecambe torquay she really into her football and i take every home match.
I am trying to convince her 2 go carlisle away but she is concerned its away match and little bit scared.

Carlisle fans i said on bbc forum that after morecambe played you in saint john's that you would go down from Leagueone into leaguetwo looks like im going to be right lol.

this fixture could become an regular in league2 lol
