Scotty in the clear

After some clever negotiations from secretary Neil, the Kendal game has been classed as a reserve game so Scotty will miss one reserve game for his sending off, which means he won't miss any first team games.

Good news for Scotty, and a great piece of administration from Neil!!

I suspect Neil's point might have been that we didn't have a Football League ref refereeing it, hence the appalling showing by the man in black, but whatever it was, it means he can be included now.

Very well done Neil M.

I wonder if he'd been a FL referee that we would have been asked to 'replace' Scott?

As for the refs performance overall, a lot of bad tackles on our lads went unpunished and it's things like this that give referees in general such a bad press, which in the main is totally unfair.

However I was under the impression that FL refs had to officiate whenever a FL team was playing irrespective of the opposition.

A case of 'a few bad apples'.....??????
