Those who went to Torquay

Those who went to Torquay

Postby shrimper » Tue Oct 20, 2009 10:23 am

Just emailed their stadium manager to thank him for the hospitality at the carvery and got this back...

"Thank you very much for your kind comments. I am glad that you all enjoyed your experience, from our part it was a pleasure to entertain you all. The behaviour, of all Morecambe fans, was exemplary. You were all a credit to your club and Town.
Best of luck for the rest of the season."
Is the glass half full or half empty? Mmmm? hard to say - but it does look like there's room for more beer!

Great roast dinner, all you could eat for £7.95, bargain.
The "greedy boards" (edges of plate) were overflowing!
Hope we end up with a club house like "Boots & Laces", great fans, great weekend.

104 was the officially recorded figure.

Yeah but one player's father blagged a free seat, and he wasn't the only player to have parents at the game.
