Aldershot Predictions - If you please

Aldershot Predictions - If you please

Postby thegentlegiant » Thu Oct 08, 2009 7:46 am

Well a very very tough game this coming Saturday I cannot see us winning there.

My head is saying our streak will come to an end and we will lose 2-0.

My heart is saying another 1-1 draw.

My wishful thinking is steal a goal at the end and win 1-0 but I just cannot see that happening.

As I've said previously I think the desire to turn draws into wins will start to see us on a more 'up and down' run in coming games.

I suspect this may be one of the 'downs' and 2-0 wouldn't surprise me.

But this team has a great ability to surprise.

1-1

a point away from home is not bad, it's our home form we need to look at we should be more attacking & adventurous

Interesting predictions
Im not there saturday(im in Norfolk) so obviously a win for us
we have a good record against The Shots home and away
im going for a win.. its coming and we have a team who demonstrate great resilience have the potential to be up there in this league and I think it will probably be a good game of football Saturday
unlucky not to get three points against Shrewsbury imho
On another day should have had three points against rochdale definitley
Bradford we should have had three points too
Dagenham were the quickest side weve played this year but we battled and stayed there so i cant see us getting beat
Rotherham too was another great away performance
focus on what weve done since 4th september and forget what went before that
and we see a different team one who potentially should have had 14 points from 6 games instead of 8 points and for me looking very strong
the banter demonstrated at wayne's do was fantastic
doesnt look like bottom of the league form to me

so im going for Morecambe 2 Aldershot 0 goals from the scousers Phil Jevons and Jim Bentley

for those going saturday safe journey and have a great time!!
for those who cant.. click on morecambe player to hear Lance and Steve with the commentary

cheers Sean

While we have played mostly teams in the top half of the table Aldershot have been playing team mostly from the bottom half.

Which of course means they are playing another team from the bottom half while we are playing another team from the top half.

So what does all this mean not a lot, so.....0-0

alwaysright???

So which of Grimsby beating Burton Albion or Torqay beating Notts County are you predicting so that your assertion that we go down a place can come true?

Another tough game, which we just nick, 1-2.

So how did that work out then?

As much as I'm not liking the current trend of drawing games I'd be happy with a point against Aldershot as long as we go on to Torquay next week going for the win.

1-1 Jevons equaliser.

Fair enough, wonder what odds you'd get on an Aldershot win a Burton defeat?

Aldershot 10/11
Grimsby 11/8

The double is 4.51/1 at Ladbrokes online

If the Shots win you get £10 for every £11 you put on + your stake so £11 wins you £21
If fishes win you get £11 for every £8 you put on

Or a £10 shot/fishy double pays £45.10
