Burton make a profit

Only a third of their income from gate receipts so their new stadium must be giving them a lot of income. A Burton fan posted this on TFF.

Profit of £135,000, Turnover just over £1.5 Million. Interesting though gate receipts only accounted for a third of income - which kind of explains how we can compete at this level with average crowds of around 2900.
Albion’s wage bill, including payments to fulltime office and ground staff, rose modestly by five per cent to £1m

Most days when I drive past the ground the car park at the front is full. Companies around the town like Coors (formerly Bass) use the boxes for meeting rooms, and the 2 larger rooms for events. They also do some cracking nights out down there, christmas/new year parties, with entertainment/discos etc....must bring in a few quid at £40 a head (larger room hold 300 people seated, about 10 events over christmas new year, thats £120k)
There are plans to build a hotel/pub/restaurant at the ground (foundations are in) but I these are on hold "due to the recession" apparently.
