"Christie Park, Amityville of the Past Couple of Years"

From their own Rag:

City’s ghost-busting squad have already laid to rest some of Stuart McCall’s biggest bogey men.
Traditional graveyards Shrewsbury, Rochdale and Barnet have been negotiated in the opening weeks of the season.

And tomorrow night comes Christie Park, the real Amityville of the past couple of years.

Morecambe has proved the ultimate house of horrors for City’s boss. Twice ahead and in command; twice ultimately beaten and on the floor in frustration.

The last-gasp loss in his first year was bad enough but that was nothing compared with the shattering blow Morecambe dealt City’s play-off bid on Good Friday.

WHO WE GONNA (Mc)CALL?

.... and IF we are to continue the run, who will be our 'spook'?

Last season it was Rene Howe with a wonder goal. The year before - was it Thommo?

If anyone's going to make the difference tonight, who will it be?

I'll plump for Jimbo. And if it comes to pass, I'll let you know why he's my tip tomorrow. (Don't want to give those Bradfordians any clues! ;) ;) ).

I actually have a feeling we may struggle tonight but the boys have a habit of delivering the goods when I feel a bit apprehensive about our prospects!
Is the glass half full or half empty? Mmmm? hard to say - but it does look like there's room for more beer!

A Paul Mullin brace in a 2-1 after going 1 down.

I think our lads will be really up for tonights game following our recent run of very good results and we nearly always raise our game when it comes to these kind of games.

The year before it was a lad called Baker, who deserves all the help the big man upstairs can give right now.

For our part, if we can continue our great record it has to be someone who has cursed us equaly in the past, so I'll plump for a last minute penalty winner from Ian craney.
