Shrimps playing at home away?

Shrimps playing at home away?

Postby seasonsinthesun » Sun Sep 27, 2009 8:38 am

Dagenham were playing in all yellow yesterday and we were playing in our home kit.
Anyone know why? Could it be that our all blue away kit was too similar to their home kit? If true, I would ask the question - shouldn't we have a third kit available i.e.white shirts?
Discuss.

Daggers played in yellow as a mark of respect for one their former players who recently succumbed to cancer.

In that case I apologise as I did not know that.
But I am still wondering whether we do have a third colour strip for this season?
Does anyone know?

Don't really need one. I'd imagine if it got desperate a training shirt would do.

We could play "in skins" , just paint numbers on the players backs ;)

Nothing to do with a mark of respect.

Our home shirt is red with a fair amount of blue.
Both the kits you brought clashed so we agreed to play in our away kit.
