Could be Ian McParland in league 2 though. County fans want him out.

Long way for them to go most of the time - isn't their closest fixture 100 odd miles away?

I'm surprised the poor bloke hasn't jumped ship weeks ago.
What's happened at Fratton park is hardly his doing is it?
Not a job that people will be queuing for I reckon.

I severely doubt Tranmere would look to out-of-work Conference managers to try and save them from the depths of League 1.

I think it would cost too much to get rid of keane at this early stage, he'll probably just throw his dummy out and walk anyway.

sturrock looks like dead man walking to me..

I actually think he's doing a good job, Pompey have been playing excellent and very unfortunate to have lost their last few games. A bunch of new players to gel together isn't easy to begin the campaign with but they demolished Everton last night and should have won 4-1. Think they'l start to pick up results.

I can't think of anyone who would take the job anyway with all the off the field problems

rumoured to have applied for the Tranmere post every time it came vacant while he was here.

Let's see if the allegations surrounding his departure from Forest Green are true. If they are, there's good reason to suggest he may have done such a thing with a previous club. If they are not, then there isn't.

The ups and downs of being a Pompey fan:

The arabs announce they're taking over: Cue Elation
Storrie says he and his consortium want to buy the club instead: Bummer
Sulamain al Fayed actually does take over and is seen with fans promising allsorts: YAYYYY
Sulamain al Fayed tells the press that they won't be spending in January because they don't need any more players: Bugger!

Nowt against Harford but I hope whoever takes over can win the league for them - I have Luton in a few accumulators and other bets!
