Why do we have to when the original idea is bonkers? For an event which might not even happen in the way you imagine?

I couldn't give a hoot about Status Quo, don't see why we need to have a band with no affinity to the club to make some kind of statement at our end of Christie party.

What I'd really like to see is a comedy show of all your bonkers suggestions and ideas. Who's bringing the water?

Victor.....I wouldn't have expected any positive comment from you.....

Roll your eyes all you like CC, the concept of internet messageboards doesn't involve people disagreeing with you coming up with better ideas.

Why not get Take That to perform at Christie. It's a better idea than Status Quo, and equally as unrealistic. Happy now I've met your posting requirements? Just make sure Craig Stanley has had his sugar, he might get over excited.

But messageboards aren't here for people to be shot down whenever a suggestion is made. At least CC is floating the idea of a big party in which families (including the next generation of fans) can come along and be part of something historic. Perhaps we should have a Campdave filter, any suggestions/ideas have to be given the green light by yourself before it can become a public discussion.

To be fair, "Rockin' all over the world" in the Carleton after Wembley was quite sensational :geek:

It's like water of a ducks back....I really couldn't care less.

I really don't mind if 'some' people respond every now and then negatively. What really pisses me off is when 'some' have nothing positive to say about ANYTHING.....all of the time.
