Am I the only one who opened this thinking Sammy had been sacked?

Probably - most of us are aware of this kind of 'ha ha! got you' thread by now.

I was disappointed not to find an amusing picture of a manager in a sack race or something similar.

saw that on the beeb website
not the best start for them
and they were relegated last season
im sure there will be a few managers worried with recent results after gray and jackson early casualties

Yes, because the rest of us would have been amazed if such a thing had happened... for all the right reasons! I would hope that we are still a long way from anything like that happening at Morecambe.

Two teams who are above us in the league have sacked their manager and I wouldn't be suprised if those two teams budgets for this season are smaller than ours.

John Coleman - done decent job at Accy with small amounts of money and is also a Morecambe legend (i dont think our budget will be bigger than Northamptons either)

I would have hated the idea of JC been our manager in the past due to the type of footy Accy play but at this moment that is exactly what we need someone to get us fightining and get the midfield scrapping.

Also with better players and more money he might try and play a better style.

well you never know, if accrington go under ( hope they dont!) then John coleman would be looking for a new club and it would be interesting to see what happens if our results dont improve.

So with your huge wealth of knowledge, do you know that our board isn't stupid nor have the budget to just sack Sammy so early and find a replacement manager??
How will this new manager work miracles with the same team?

....and anyway, it doesn't need miracles, just a bit of tightening up.

I also know of people who have said similar things from time to time - but we don't have to take any notice. They're entitled to their opinions but the board will have a little more sense than to start taking silly long-term decisions on such short-term issues.
