Why the post "What happened to" has been locked have i missed something ????????????

Sometimes threads deteriorate into something unbecoming.
Sometimes mods dump them as and when they do, sometimes before.
Sometimes we know exactly what is going to happen next, call it deja-vus, call it experience.
Sometimes it's easiest to lock 'follow up threads' before they turn in to discussions about the rights & wrongs of dumping threads. A bit like this one...
