That's seven goals now in the first few games - and some stunning displays, by all accounts.

Sure to have people at Preston, Leeds and others having a watch.

All of which got me searching for this...

http://www.thevisitor.co.uk/morecambe-sport/Baker-makes-Stockport-move.4312757.jp

The salient parts being:

"The Shrimps' record signing moved to League One side Stockport in a £175,000 transfer.

Hear our audio discussion on the Baker move and Sammy's plans for the coming season.

The fee will rise to £225,000 based on performances, which would make it a Morecambe record, beating Justin Jackson's £175,000 move to Rushden and Diamonds.

The Shrimps also have agreed a sell-on clause, although a percentage of the Stockport fee will be paid to Baker's previous club Southport."
Is the glass half full or half empty? Mmmm? hard to say - but it does look like there's room for more beer!

I remember a lot of people saying he's more suited to League One football. He had great skills on the ball.

Great news about the sell on. Let's hope Man City spot him and send some silly money our way.
