Getting on the 'backs' of players

Getting on the 'backs' of players

Postby Christies Child » Fri Aug 01, 2008 4:47 pm

Some of us, and I include myself in this, have, from time to time been accused of getting on the 'backs' of players.

However I'd like to think that we aren't as critical as the Scunthorpe fans on their site who seem to take great joy in putting down the performances (or lack of performance in certain cases) in pre-season games to date as an indication of the crap season they are predicting for their team.
Heroes get mentioned but Legends never die.
