Morecambe FC (The Bus)

Well after a long 10 months I can announce that we will be unveiling the bus on September 19th - Morecambe v Notts County, the bus will be at the ground from 12pm till 3pm.

I would like to take a moment and thank you the fans, also the main sponsors "Mains Business and Stagecoach" i would also like to thank all the other sponsors and business that have helped us get this far.

I.E

The Visitor

Morecambe FC
The Bay
BBC Radio Lancashire
Baytype - Flyers and leaflets
And many many more.

Once again thank you, I look forward to seeing everyone at the unveiling.

Absolutely...an excellent contribution to increasing the profile of our club.

I'm sure it will have been worth the wait.

Now let's capitalise on it by ensuring maximum media coverage....nationwide!

Little Shrimp....I thankyou for your imput, but if you realised the very,very hard work that has gone into this then maybe you wouldn't be so quick to comment in that way.We wanted max coverage and this will be a big game...I would also like to give a big thankyou to all those involved and all those fans that contributed in a constructive way.
I would assume we won't be seing a little shrimp at the unveiling??

Well done Sam and the rest of the organisers. It really is a great tribute to your loyalty and hard work on behalf of not just the football club, but the community. You don't need nominating for any awards, the visitor/club et al should be singing your praises from the rooftops. And maybe the North Stand will too....

Could be Sol Cambells first game, which will probably involve alot of media coverage, If anything its a good thing!

A great achievement...looking forward to seeing in unveiled at christie park.I think also we should say thanks to north stand shrimp in encoraging mains business to play a part in the sponsorship .. ..they are very supportive of all that is Morecambe FC ..so cheers to Denise and her team

great news lads and very very well done
but.........would it not be a great idea to have a bus ticket to the ground good old fashioned football special from uni to footie ground one for the clubs commercial dept to get to grips with bus driver/ticket collector a la on the buses
i can think of morecambe mick and freez tacking ticket srepeating tales of keith galleys shagging encounters at the grab a granny nights on west end pier 1977
why not a special day ferry as many fans in on bus with funds going to the club as a one off
got to be worth a try
cant we get svne as bus driver and so l campbell taking tickets as well
you can see where im going with this......freez?????????????

The official unveiling will be between 1200-1245pm, if you would like to be there for the official unveiling get yourself down to Christie Park from 12pm Saturday 19 Sept. :D :D

Great work to the commitment, to the true shrimp fans that have made this work. The great name of morecambe fc will be seen all over the area hinting to the people of this area of how well this small friendly seaside club have done WELLDONE :D
