He's signed as a player/coach, I would imagine he'll only be playing for 2 of those years at the most

Why all the excitement.......we once had Keith Newton in our ranks and he was an ex England International?

PJ will rung rings around him and Mr T will breeze past him as if he wasn't there!

;) ;) ;)

according to our PA announcer Phil Jeavon's goal against Carlisle was "the first of many" so lets hope he can knock a couple in against Sol's boys !

Notts now at 10/11 to win the league.....I pointed out their potential months ago when at 33/1, get me! 8-)

As I understand it Sol has signed a deal (5 year) which involves no coaching, signed to play only! I would love to know how much he is on, must be a fair wad to drop down to the bottom rung. I'd imagine there is a tasty bonus on offer should Notts go up this season, like the deal that brought Lee Hughes to Meadow Lane.

5 year contract for an injury prone 36 year old is total madness - just proves another bunch of foreign owners who dont have a clue about football - whos next gazza, figo, nedved (not bad for a team whos fans walked out at half time last season at christie what a joke)

Despite rumours to the effect that somebody would be coming in, I've got to agree with you!

Not sure if it's the Board putting a block on it; the player not wanting the move; his club not being in position any longer to agreeing the loan; or the signing of Panther has put a nail in the loan moves coffin!

Whatever it is, it's bad news in my book........'cause we need somebody hopefully with a bully boy attitude.

Rather than having (another) go at the fickle fans, why not try and do something to keep them. Let them in half price for another match if they produce their stub from Notts County?

Why??????? The club is a business not a Charity, my point is there will be the "Oh let's go and see Sven and Sol" brigade - wonder if those same folk will watch us when we play Barnet (sorry lads - no offence)?

The club is going all out to get more young people in with the Kid a Quid for the JPT.

Someone actually said on this board that he knew people who would rather spend an afternoon on the lash instead of watching Morecambe, so they are out there.
