Twiss and roach both excellent, poor attendance though, cannot help lift the team much

Poor turnout from Macclesfield as well, to be fair.

id drop

Moss for McStay(i said at the end of last season we did'nt necessarily need to replace Yates

Jovens for Curtis(at least he shoots on sight)

Adams for anybody

id go 4-1-3-2

McStay---Artell---Bentley---Wilson
-------------Drummond---------------
---Stanley----Craney----Panther---

-----------Curtis----Twiss----------

still the same for me.

....and I'm afraid the North Stand were silent for long periods in the second half after they got their second. Only came to life after we equalised! :o

MoM Panther followed by Wilson. Moss got better in the second half, but until we get a 6'4" street fighter up front alongside PJ, he'll not give us the return he was brought into the club to do. Jevons is no target man.

Not sure what the Iron Man said to their fans in the second half, but his partner seated near to us had a smile on her face suggesting that it wasn't exactly complimentory.

Sammy and Co were rightly critical of all the balls that we put into their box with nobody their to take advantage. I lost count of the number of times I shouted 'attack the ball' when it was in their box. Fortunately on the one occassion when we did, Arts got the equaliser. A lesson we need to learn?

The defence got away with it today, but against a free flowing team..ouch!

Obviously an improvement on the last 2 performances, but we are still too wide open at times and not aggressive enough up front for me.

The defense deserve special consideration for remembering their instructions and not getting themselves all confused.

Maybe waiting for you to take the lead cc . Cant remember much coming from the folded arm brigade . Just beause you are in the main stand doesn't mean you cant sing for the lads.

Think what you need to do is get down to the standy bit and channel your voice into harmonic singing as no one can hear you up there

Even amongst the tumbleweed of the North Stand you couldn't hear the main stand shouters...

Apart from our poor run of form, I think the North Stand was relatively subdued because in the second half we were shooting towards opposition fans...doesn't help the atmosphere when you're wanting the players to get further away from you.

No, but generally in the second half the team are more willing to press on for a result, and when they're nearer the home end the fans get louder. It's the way it is. Days like today, to be honest, make the second half a bit of an anti-climax
