So, I can listen to Wigan v Man Utd fine but I can't listen to the game that I actually paid for? Mind you at 0-1 already, perhaps that is for the best?

Indecision between Moss and Roche... Roche took the man down, Tipton sent Roche wrong way from spot.

Can't listen live.
I know Freez is doing it not sure who else.
I'll just get by watching Man U and checking back here for scores.

Freez & Steve Midds commentating.

They aren't actually talking about the game, so I guess it's crap? We've had pirate actors & Midds having a trial where he conceded double figures. Oh, and we hit the post.

Draper just shot from 25 yards but Roche made a decent save. Corner... great save! Try the chat room Aspers.

Difficult one isn't it? Now that I actually CAN listen, I'm actually enjoying this commentary more than the others I've listened to this season.

Laurel and Hardy would be more use by the sound of it :(

Our first proper shot after about 35 minutes "we're not pressuring them at all"

Half time comments:

"the crowd are subdued" "well, there's not much to chear about so far".
"two minutes added time" "well, that's good because that means it's only two minutes to the half time sandwiches"
"the second half can't be as bad as this surely?" "hope not, we couldn't complain if we were three down"

 :(

Not quite, Darlington are losing to Port Vale so they are still bottom.

Cheltenham 3 Bradford 3 at half time, that's a cracker of a game.

"we've done more in the first seven minutes of the second half than the whole of the first"

Sounds like Twissy is having a fantastic start to the second, we could have had three already this half. Come on lads, get a second.

BOLLOX

Just as I was typing that, we've conceded ANOTHER soft goal

Twiss almost scored, brilliant save but from the corner "a brilliant delivery to back post" well met by Artell

Good header from arts. Everyone worked hard today. Daft pen and soft goal. They had one disallowed (as we did earlier) at the death. rightly so.

Panther given MOM. Twiss for me.

A point well deserved

Wilson and Panther were stand out players for me, but Craney was poor and Jevons never got the service he needed..

I must say Roche made two great saves in the first half.

They did miss two sitters thier number 11 and 23 missing those.
Overall we should have won. But we didn't finish well enough.

P.s THE REF WAS ABISMAL :x

Can't agree with that. I thought the ref had a great game, actually.

Plenty to anticipate this season. For the most part the new lads did well, especially Panther (there's only 2 cats in Christie!) and Wilson. Jevons maybe tried to make things too pretty-pretty. Craney I thought did OK.

Moss - hmmmm, least said the better. (OK I'll say it - his positional sense is on a par with Kieran Walmsley's in that position, ie dreadful, and he cost us the first goal and a few scares. Maybe he would do better in a wing-back role, I don't know. As things stand, Parrish might offer a less unattractive option.)

Barry Roche did well with a few saves. Overall a draw was probably a fair result with us being better going forward and them being more solid at the back - though we might just have edged it.

Just about a fair result, frustrating that we couldn't go further though. IMO we had too many passengers in the side today. It looked like we lacked organisation and were lop-sided. If Moss is going to start, he can't be wingback. Right side of a defensive 3 is OK, and dropping Danny Adams would be the lesser of 2 evils for me (I am actually a fan of his but Bentley picks himself, and Artell was a bit better today)

Panther was awesome, MOTM by a country mile. Not only did he threaten going forward but he was always there mopping up at the back. Craney however seems to be suffering from 'Morecambe syndrome' - afraid to take a shot despite his good work around the box. Twiss was very good and I was glad to see him get an old-school Twissy goal today, I think he has been getting better with every game this season. Jevons worked hard but does need a bigger man to work off, and he and Twissy are too similar.

Onwards and upwards (can't get much further down)
