Isn't that where they have the regatta?

A thread about cricket and I've looked at it twice? Little wonder I'm feeling sleepy already...

So how did that work out then?

Tis time Vaughan was sacked. He's consistently failed with that bat and his captaincy is questionable at the moment.

I agree, after what he did at Barrow he should never have been allowed near another club.

Don't get me started on the BBC text coverage. Its appalling drivel, punctuated with awful public schoolboy 'humour'. I'm normally a laid back kind of person but the idiot that is Ben Dirs and his smug, deluded, amateur commentary almost makes me want to have a Daily Mail style rant about the licence fee.

Oh really!
So laid back, that you could happily encourage others to tear a sad, sorry and repentent Ron Atkinson to bits.

Yeah, pretty laid back, but racists, Tories and Daily Mail reading scum (same thing really) do make my blood boil. Not sure what the Ron Atkinson reference is about.

Anyhow, back on topic, the cricket. Great spell from Flintoff last night, brought the crowd and the game back to life. Also can anyone recomend any actual good live text commentary rather than the puerile garbage Ben Dirs spouts?
