Craney slotting it through selflesly

That sounds promising a midfielder slotting it through for a striker just what we have been missing.

ar first i was thinking we would struggle this season but then on saturday i went to the first game this season and i was shocked didnt think we were goign to be that good if we put in the first half of saturdays game and tonights game as the sound of it, if we do that for 90 mins we will be well in there at least playoffs but if we just perform now and again like we did a bit last year then i thinkwe will be 10 11th round there again so really its up to the lads beucase we no they can do it as we have seen first half saturday and 2night !!

You have to bear in mind that their defence will have been reserve players (they were so crap they must have been) - kept losing possesion every time our strikers ran at them and Artell's hoofs were actually creating goalscoring opportunities. :o

Still, we played some great passing football and Craney did an outstanding job in opening up the defence with his skill, grit and passing ability. The formation was very interesting too - a 4-4-2 diamond I think which seemed to work quite well.

an excellent display against a useful tranmere, craney looks like he will be the difference this season, always looking for the attacking option and will be good for 10 goals as well himself.Jevons looks ok as well, only some scrappy goals or we would have won comfortably, artell missing 2 sitters in 1st half.Things are looking very promising for the new season

Very impressed. More of the midfield diamond please!!!
Lets not get carried away our defense is all over the place without a leader (though thats not to say they didnt have decent games individually.) However when the rest of the squad get on Craney's wavelength like Jevons already is....WOW :P

What a difference when we play it on the deck and not rely on the long aimless boot upfield.

Hell even Arts was playing it on the deck but on the odd occassion he reverted to type, the usual long boot resulted in nothing.

Overall a lot of good signs that it's coming together.

Now get a big guy to play alongside Jevons and who knows what might happen.

Wishfull thinking :?: :?: :?: ;) ;) ;)

I just said what came out of my mouth. I then thought 's**t' what if Jevons scores? I will have to say the same thing again'. Then he did, and I had to

I thought Parrish had a cracking game at centre half and showed a bit of fire in his belly even getting involved in a bit of handbags with a tranmere forward great stuff :o :o :o

Great performance real good value entertainment. Interesting to see us slicing through the middle without bothering with the flanks  Could have scored 10, never seen us create so many chances at this level :o

Nobodys mentioned Twissy who appeared to relish playing around the classy front two. Never seen him have a handful of shots at goal for quite some time. These new lads should give him the confidence he needs ;)

All change tonight no doubt so don't get too excited

ps Duffy was secretly wrapped away from the prying eyes of John Barnes
Enjoy yourself.... It is later than you think
