Cobblers! From the outset he said he went to Milan to keep his hopes of playing for England alive. For Donovan to question the professionalism of probably the most professional England player at the moment is almost laughable. Who would ANY pro footballer prefer to play for, Milan or Galaxy?
And, while I'm still on the horse, Galaxy had to agree to the loan for it to happen.

Why should the fans of LA Galaxy give a kipper about Beckham playing for England? It's Beckham's selfishness that has earned him this reaction from the fans.
If we'd signed Joe Lewis, and he wanted to go on loan to Man Utd for a couple of months to improve his England chances, I wouldn't be impressed with that, and this situation is exactly the same.
