Hi Wayne, What do you mean you couldn't make it tonight?

Anyway, I'm sure someone will put up a decent report but here's a brief summary.

Thought we played well, and could well have been in front until they got their first. Well we scored it really, Roache had the shot covered, when it took a cruel deflection into the oposite corner of the goal. They played some nice quick football to quickly establish a 2-0 lead.

We were really on the back foot from here on, with several goal line clearances. They eventually got their third, and then seemed to settle back a bit. This gave us some confidence going forward, and our consolation goal was well taken.

In summary a not bad performance against a Premiership team with several different players playing varying roles. Some nice touches at times from a varied Morecambe team.

I realised that when I posted the game had just finished and Shrimper wouldn't have had time to do the match report.
