I agree it is OTT but surely even in your cave you must be aware of the practice of ensuring `maximimum impact` when highlighting a point of dissatisfaction whether it be in politics, business or social. It is usually implemented when previous general complaints on a subject have been ignored by the offending person/company. With regard to the non league bile the point was to emphasise that the clubs approach in this matter was what you would might expect from non league. Never underestimate the strength of pubic opinion and that includes potential new players who increasingly surf fans message boards to ascertain info on the club.
