I think he's on Owen Road and he's an Osteopath if it's the one I'm thinking about.

Not everyone thinks that Osteopaths actually do any good, and do more harm than good and others swear by them. I don't have the medical expertise to say one way or the other really. But maybe someone else has.

I went to the place on owen road weekly for around 6 months, i had various types of treatment and the only benefit to anyone was to them, at forty quid a session, i found it a waste of money :!:

I had a prolapsed disc in my back , very painful and gave me a pain down my left leg.

I went to a physio on Broadway and he cured it. not cheap though , £25 per session and I needed 5 sessions.

I was hit by another driver on the M6 a few years back. My lower back was in bits and my neck was painful too. It got to the point when work was difficult and I couldn't drive. ( work was as deputy matron of a hospital by the way). I'd always believed that Osteopathy was snake oil, but I gave it a go on the recomendation of a colleague. It worked a treat and walked out of the clinic ( Dacrelands in Lancaster) pain free and able to get on with my life. The guy was brilliant and the money was well spent.
