Sammy talking about search for new striker

Radio Lancashire Sport......6pm to 8pm

104.5fm

NOW ON

Let down by Allen and Chris Casement a central defender from Ipswich

Sounds really annoyed about Bentley and Wainright's injurys. Both out for start of season due to lack of attention by individual(s). Seems to be having a pop at the medical staff. Must be sorted and this is now being given the attention it demands.

re Striker...been in discussions with whoever whilst away on holiday.

Sammy was furious about Jimbo and Neil Wainwright being out injured.

Do you really think that's a suitable discussion topic on a public forum. I don't.

(FWIW, I've no idea what may or may not be going on behind the scenes, and it's none of my damned business).

What is there left to discuss on this board then if not things that fall under that category?

To be fair that is now the 3rd time since the end of last season Dave's involvment at the club has been mentioned on here and I have also had people talk to me about it saying they have heard rumours.

I hope Dave is still with us as he is brilliant at his job and could be working at a far higher level in football. If dave did stop working for the club I don't think a club at our level could ever a physio with the the experience and knowledge Dave has and it would be a massive loss.

Yup, and I've also heard rumours. Included in those rumours is potentially... [that's potentially, not confirmed, ie rumours] ...is that there may be legal issues. As such, we could VERY EASILY end up with comments that would REALLY PISS OFF LAWYERS.

That is why we need to wait for either the club or Dave to release some kind of statement before we start nattering about it on here. Any other mentions of that situation will be dumped... unless they are from the club or Dave.

So how did that work out then?

Have to keep an eye on that one however there can be two sides to every story.

Perhaps best to wait until the club make an official announcement.
