Even I, with all my contacts    , can't throw any light on this one. All I know is that whoever it is is experienced at our level and above.

I could speculate but then again so could everybody. One thing, it aint Owen or Yorke.

Info provided by Radio Lancashire today.

Sammy said "experienced and has played at a higher level".

my guess is Greg Blundell.

P.S.
or Michael Proctor according to "Red Sonia" on football forum.

Personally I hope not even though he's a bit of a 'street fighter' which would be a bit different for us.

Possibly Michael Proctor?

If it's who I think it is, he's 33 and has played for another team not too far away from us. But not Accrington.

Well, it's unlikely to be Carlos Tevez and Benzema's gone to madrid now.

Maybe we'll get one of Madrid's cast-offs.

Who's been waiting for a big name signing? When was the last time we had one of them anyway?

Jan Vennegoor of Hesselink is free would that name be big enough? i'm sure the club shop would love putting that on the back of a shirt at £1 a letter

There's not much information available on this striker but there have been a few names thrown about in this thread - all just speculation though. My money's on Michael Proctor personally.
