how about this one:
Mossy
Always believe in your soul
Youve got the power to know
Youre indestructable
Always believe in,because you are
Mossy
Glad that youre bound to return
Theres something I could have learned
Youre indestructable,always believe in

not as bad as a "from a night out in Morecambe to a greasy chip butty" how ever it goes!

we should be singing a hell lot more of "give me sunshine give me rain" i feel it puts Morecambe on the map more and the away supporters and neutrals just love it :D

We need a lyrics thread again!
“Britain faces a simple and inescapable choice - stability and strong Government with me, or chaos with Ed Miliband: ".

David Cameron. May 4th 2015.
So how did that work out then?

Et, Voila!

Bring me Sunshine, in your smile,
Bring me Laughter, all the while,
In this world where we live, there should be more happiness,
So much joy you can give, to each brand new bright tomorrow,

Make me happy, through the years,
Never bring me, any tears,
Let your arms be as warm as the sun from up above,
Bring me fun, bring me sunshine, bring me love.

(There's another couple of verses but these are the ones we sing. I've highlighted the words a lot of people get wrong.)
Is the glass half full or half empty? Mmmm? hard to say - but it does look like there's room for more beer!

 :?
Even as a kid I thought they sang "so much joy you can bring..." and now, even though I know it's not right, when I'm singing along, 9 times out of 10 I'll sing 'bring'.

Okay I don't mind biting...

Nah! you just get it wrong.

The clue is 'give' rhymes with 'live' and 'bring' doesn't.

that chip butty song, everyone on our coach going down to wembley, where singing it off this song sheet handed out to everyone, and ave head it a couple of times since :|

the Morecambe & Wise song, part of the reason i don't know the words is down to nobody sings it at matches, it just comes on through the speakers sometimes before the match

It gets sung every match or so, yet many people for some reason think the last 3 lines are 'bring me sunshine, bring me laughter, bring me love'

a few suggestions of the top of my head

Oh come with me to the rolling sea
While the weather's calm and still
We'll have some fun and laughter with
The adventures of Darren Moss

new dream every day, Darren Moss
oink oink
Who ya gonna be today, Darren Moss?
oink oink
A suitcase full of clothes,
Everybody knows,
When you're dressed in your Sunday best,
Anything goes.
A new dream every day, Darren Moss
oink oink

They call him Darren, Darren, faster than lightning,
No-one you see, is smarter than he,
And we know Darren, lives in a world full of wonder,
Flying there-under, under the sea!
Everyone loves the king of the sea,
Ever so kind and gentle is he,
Tricks he will do when children appear,
And how they laugh when he's near!
They call him Darren, Darren, faster than lightning,
No-one you see, is smarter than he,
And we know Darren, lives in a world full of wonder,
Flying there-under, under the sea!

Everybody knows, Darren loves...MASH POTATOES!
He makes them into shapes and eats them every-day!
Bentley and Darren, Bentley and Darren.
La, La, La, La-lah,
La, La, La, La-lah
Bentley and Darren are never far away.

or

DARREN
And the Masters Christie Park.

I am Darren, Prince of Eternia, defender of the secrets of Christie Park.
This is Jimbo, my fearless friend.

Fabulous secret powers were revealed to me the day I held aloft my magic
sword and said:
"By the power of Christie"

DARREN!

"I have the power!"

Jimbo became the mighty Battle Cat.
And I became DARREN, the most powerful man in the universe.

Only three others share this secret.
Our friends the Sorceress, Man at Arms and Orko.

Together we defend Christie Park from the evil forces of Skeletor.

DARREN!

ok this one might need a bit of work and i'm not sure about all the sword stuff

maybe we should stick to the MASH POTATOE... come imagine it. first game of the season, Darrens first game. The atmosphere is electric... everyone buzzing with excitment. He steps out onto the hallowed turf....

as one the whole of the North stand takes a collective deep breath in... he looks up at us for the first time then in perfect time as loud as possible "everybody knows darren loves - MASH POTATOE"

The hairs on the back of my neck just stood up

Okay - I've read CCs pre-season update and....

(To: My old man's a dustman')

Darren Moss is magic
He wears a magic hat
And if a winger takes him on
He'll end up on his back!

Thanks.

Coat please!
