Water

Water

Postby Christies Child » Wed Jul 01, 2009 6:35 am

With the lads back into pre-season training today, I'm sure they are aware of the need to take on as much fluids as possible during their sessions in this heat wave.

If anybody is prepared to spare £1 get down to Aldi and buy 4 bottles of water and give it to the team as they prepare for the season ahead. I'm sure that all contributions would be most welcome.

I'll start it off by buying 20 bottles, which will last less than a day!

:) :) :)

buy a player a bottle of water and he'll drink for an hour... but for just £2 we can buy him a map and he'll find his own way to the shop and get his own water.

Is this serious do they not have water provided for them? I could bring a couple of oranges?

I'll contribute some kits kats. Some one can bring a rug and we'll all have a picnic.

I don't think so - I buy my season ticket, program etc. I don't feel I need to subsidise drinks in training. If others want to, that's their lookout.

Is this an official appeal for water? Haven't they paid the water rates?

If it's still hot & dry on the 11th, do we all have to drink plenty in the morning then turn up early to p!ss on the pitch?

Shrimper will get a good headline out of that one

MFC takes the p!ss out of Shrimpsvoices

FFS you lot.....

A simple request for some fans to buy water for the lads as a gesture of goodwill and I get all this f****** crap thrown at me. However I'm used to that by now from certain sections!!!

Don't bother. I'll buy the water myself.

Have you thought how it makes the club look to other league teams that read this forum? The fans have to take bottled water to the training sessions? FFS!
