Was reading today about Pearce's preperation for Pens it was incredible all 11 players had been filmed taking a pen to work out where they hit it best, glad it paid off

It's not out of the question, I mean they are both young championship keepers. I thing Pearce'll judge who has been performing best over the weeks.

looking at who's left and the last friendly they played, they both could play Scott in goal and Joe up front, Campbell banned Agbonlahor banned and Walcott carrying a knock.

Here's a three part question which I have been puzzling over and I'm sure SV's will have the answer.

1.Joe Hart got a yellow card during the penalty shoot out. If that had been his 2nd yellow in that game he would have been sent off. Do I presume correct that we could simply "substitute" the goalkeeper with another off the bench?

2.As he was a penalty taker as well, and the above had happened before he took his kick would we lose a "kick" or could we have played a sub.?

3. If we had already used our compliment of subs during the game, can you still replace the goalkeeper if he is sent off during the shoot out?

ps Is Joe Lewis worth £2M ?

Pearce's logic was that Loachy still has a couple more years with the Under 21s so this will be good experience.

1 I thought the idea was to groom players for the full side, in which case it would have been good experience for Joe as well.

2 I think Joe is far better at crosses and coming off his line for free-kicks etc. I hope Loachy does nothing to confirm that.
