..in fact SVs never know who Sammy is after until a deal is done...and rightly so. The news about the Ebbsfleet bid was most unlike our club. :o :o :o

Let's hope for some good news from the Boss, sooner than later.

;) ;) ;)

It's a certain Twiss_Fan_Club who claims to know the name(s) of our new striker(s) on the Football Forum site.

A load of bollocks if you ask me.

I think TFC wouldn't be too far off the mark with that. He has the sort of profile that Sammy would like. A good young player that he and Mark could improve.

Obviously when a massive club like Bradford came in he would obviously sign for them.

You are assuming that he was on Sammy's radar.

Just because a few of us, including me, mentioned him as a possiblity it doesn't mean that the Boss thinks likewise.

Remember last season he brought Rene in on the eve of the season and nobody had even thought about him on SVs.

We all speculate, nothing wrong in that, but the only people who really know the current position are the management team and the Board plus possibly a few others closely connected with the club.

Give Sammy a chance - as others have said he was never officially a target.

when the RUMOUR was spreading that we might sign him there was widespread debate whether he was good enough. Now we havent its another great signing we have missed.

There is all this talk of missed signings (I think there are two right back and Gash) both of which WE have walked away from for financial reasons - for me completely the right thing to do. Our finances are relatively stable and we need to be careful they stay that way.

Nothing wrong with walking away for financial reasons ;)
