I see today on the bbc website that matt jansen has signed for his mate garry flitcrofts side
leigh genesis who i noticed were also relegated last season.....surely he may have been worth a look at/ trail,,maybe sammy already knows he no longer up to the standards of full team league football after his accident..or maybe glen maybe able to shed some light???

I heard about GF possibly taking of Leigh quite a while back. I work with a lad that used to play at Rovers with GF and he had heard about it and that he was going to try and get a few of his old mates from Rovers to play for them.

I also believe he has signed his brother Stephen who was at Rovers and they have managed to get a friendly with Bolton.

Hpe they manage to turn it round as Leigh were in dire trouble last season.

Jansen was impressed with the facilities saying they were "on a par with most Championship Clubs".... On this basis our new Stadium will make the Club so much easier to "sell" :D

Also talks here about the "Impressive Goalkeeper Stephen Drench" ;)
