The race is on

It seems as Chesterfield are at the same stage as us in building their new stadium

some of their fans seem to think that it will not be ready on time.

so who will finish first?

Us by a long way I will be suprised if Chesterfield's is ready they haven't started any work. The land is cleared they did that over a year or more ago but nothing since. The new Tesco next to it has shot up but that's all.

There new stadium has been planned for a couple of years now but it seems to have taken a long time to get planning and the finance together.

If there are fears that they won't have theirs finished in time then we will definitely be ahead. The board must be confident of us being ready considering all the "last season at CP" celebrations.

I think they will still be at Saltergate when we move our ground is underway and looking good can't wait untill the grounds itself starts going up and although i have not seen the site for Chesterfields new stadium reading on the internet it sounds like it is taking a long time to get everything ready to start work and they have only got little over a year to do it in
