Good to see the club as a new regular and welcome contributor on SVs. The more the better.

Joking appart, I can confirm that Morecambe FC is the genuine log in for 'official' posts. More than one person has access to that log in, but all will only use it in their 'official capacity'. This will free them up to also post in their 'personal capacity'. I've no idea if the cat has official news to post or not... :D

So how did that work out then?

message for Morecambe FC
Now that work is well under way on the new development the directors must know what the stadium is going to look like. Are there any artists or architects drawings that you can post on here to show the fans what it will look like.
also will the floodlights be at the ground corners.

Thanks in anticipation.

The floodlights have surely got to be at the corners. I personally hope they are not the puny ones you see at many a new build smaller scale stadium nowadays. I want testosterone filled lights, a throwback to another era, big chunky things that soar into the skyline and you can see for miles they are so high. Some sort of unusual shape would also go down well like the circular ones at Trent Bridge. Anything with character which sets the ground apart from the boring norm'. Please let me design the new lights, please!

Thanks for the enquiry. With contractual agreements being concluded its not the best time to provide that information. However all the details will be available shortly. Keep an eye on www.morecambestadium.co.uk or better still register for the newsletter, as soon as major changes or news are added, we'll let you know via email and through the official site.

Thanks again.
