What :o my strict training regime that I have been following is to slowly build up to 5k just in time for me to peak next week  my plans have been thrown into chaos.

This now means an extra affort next week or giving up and joing CC at the back for a few pit stops, I will see you at the first pub CC.

Is the fund day free to attend and is it just the run you have to pay for?

I see North stand Shrimp has been taking his training seriously and did the MMorecambe 10k in 45.50 at the weekend.

Meanwhile me and Lloydie have been to by having an all day drinking session followed by a curry

I'm waiting for the Morecambe "Iron Man" Triflathlon. You iron a few shirts then eat a trifle.
Is the glass half full or half empty? Mmmm? hard to say - but it does look like there's room for more beer!

if the fun run starts at the club, and goes down to the shrimp, then up broadway along the prom to the midland then comes back the same route, it is just short of 4 and a half miles

Puts a Marathon into perspective when you consider that you would have to run this route 7 times to cover the distance!

Just a thought, are there going to be any marshalls at street crossings, and any water station?etc?

I was thinking that especially for crossing from Broadway to the prom. Surley there must be if 200+ people are doing it.

Also will there be any water stops on the way round?

Forecast isn't to clever for the weekend.

Seriously though... I've heard over 300 people have entered. having all them people(including kids) trying to cross Marine road without marshalls is an accident waiting to happen. :?

Just give this one a little "BUMP" hope nobody minds.

The lineup for the days entertainment is looking very impressive. Loads to do to keep all members of the family happy, keep checking the main site for updates.
