As we are an unseeded team we're drawn away. I'll bet you a pint we're away again next season

Is the glass half full or half empty? Mmmm? hard to say - but it does look like there's room for more beer!

Great :D

As we will always be away we can't ask for more

Think it will be harder this time though as they are a much better team and at the moment we don't have the creative players to take the game to them like we did when we had the cup run that first season (remb extra time against Wolves).

I am now glad we don't have a friendly with them this year r we could have been playing them twice in a couple of weeks.

Well with unseeded times like Accy, Rotherham, Bury, Notts Co, Lincoln, Darlo, Crewe etc etc etc all drawn at home it obviously does'nt work like that

A fun night out in store, and something for the lads to really look forward to :D

It was an amazing atmosphere last time from us and we outsung the 8,000 or so Preston fans. Come on, let's do it again! :D Get everyone down, it should be a great occasion.

I couldn't make the game at Deepdale a couple of seasons ago. It has always been a great regret. Was initially really chuffed the chance to go there with Morecambe has come around again so quickly. However, just noticed that ties take place w/c 10th of August, whilst I'm away on holiday. Bloody weddings, who gets married during the football season! We do seem to be kicking off early this year.

Yes very early! We played Preston on 14th August 2 seasons ago - this time we will play them on the 11th or the 12th !!

Looking at the draw being made the seeded/unseeded teams are drawn at home alternately ;)

Does lightning strike twice?

Let's not forget the footballing lesson they gave us at CP in a pre-season friendly last season.

It'll be much harder this time..that's for sure!

But we'll give it our all and see what happens.

Maybe the ideal location for Duffy to showcase his skills?

Nice one, just before i go on holiday, like most people i think it will be a lot harder this time.

If things balance out like they are always supposed to do then we must be due a lot of home draws in cup competitions. If its anything like the last time then it will be a cracking night out.

What are you on about!!? Wembley wasn't my first game. I went to see Morecambe at Wembley but my first game was an F.A. Trophy game against York in December 2006 and the score was 2-1 to Morecambe       .

It's got to be the 12th, please. Get back from Italy that day, might just be able to make a dash from M'cr airport. Really enjoyed the atmosphere from our fans last time. One of the best all time Shrimps away ties.

Shocking draw for me, the only enjoyment i've got out of work over the last two and a bit years is continuously reminding them all about our day at Sheepdale. I spent 5 years at high school listening to "Why do you support shitty conference teams like Morecambe" and all the "Go on Ben, come and watch PNE, we'll be in the prem soon" tripe. It seems I may come to regret rubbing it in so much and they could well have the final say. Oh how it will hurt if we lose, myself and sammy h once encountered a large group of Nob-enders on the train home from Bury. They were singing songs about Burnley and Blackpool but quickly switched to how much they hate Morecambe :? when they saw us in red. That only increased my eternal hatred for them and i enjoy it every year when they fail, especially this year with Burnley going up. I truely am gutted that once again I have to pay to watch PNE-nis, a team that I will always despise

The only reason we beat Preston 2 years ago was because of us, the fans! We were quality and that was possibly the loudest we have ever been!?

Oh yeah, another reason why we won, they were sh*te
