Better to have them on the right when they are right-footed than on the left! You seem to be assuming that we will go back to 4-4-2 with Adams at left-back which I personally believe would be a major mistake. Adams and Twiss are presently the only left-footed players we have, neither of whom could survive a full season at left wing-back. Therefore, we need a younger and quicker left-footed player to play in that position.

Are you really suggesting that we play either Duffy or Wainy in that position.....?????

That presupposes we have two wing backs. Last season one (left) was Wainer (winger turned wingback), the other (right) was Yates (fullback turned wingback).
We've let Yatesy go.
Now we either replace him like for like with another right-sided wingback.
or
We bring in someone like Wilson on the left and then switch Wainer to Yatesy's old position.
Am I missing something?

not having that, he didn't prove anything, forget what home game it was when he came on as sub and played left wing back when he's right footed then in the same game he got switched to the right side a looked dangerous beat 2 or 3 players with his first run down the right wing

It's alright him beating a couple of players but whenever anyone runs at him he doesn't have a clue and gets exposed time after time. Until he learns how to defend he is a liability playing as a wing back and should only be used when we are playing 4-4-2.
