O'Carroll was released at the end of his contract correct BUT who's to say he didn't want to be released? We all have lives, family, friends etc etc outside of work.

aeron tailor is a good striker, he has a friend called adam wright who plays for lancaster but is a very good prospect so could do worse than looking at him for a bit?

well he is only 18 i think and is extremely strong and quick, would be a very good foil for a striker like tailer IMO. glad to see the back of ocarrol he was a very bad trainer thats why sammy never picked him.

You know that for a fact do you?

Whenever I've seen him on the training ground (granted from behind a bush ;) ) he always looked keen and not taking the easy way out!

according to a Darlington fan (admittedly he's a clown) on another forum we are battling with Accrington to sign Greg Blundell.

...saw that myself.

JH regarded Blundell as a 'scouse street fighter of the meanest type'......

Not the first time he's been linked with us.

Certainly takes no prisoners that's for sure.

Old fashion type of centre forward....'gets at 'em and goes in where it hurts'

IF this is a serious 'chase' for the guy along with Accy, surely we can beat them on salary and potential especially with the new ground coming on stream.

HOWEVER there is the strong 'scouse' contingent at Accy...with Coley, Bell and others.

here's the PFA list of available players.

I noted that Damian Allen was on it.

Contains some interesting names such as Pavel Abbot and Pataluae who scored a few last year for Lincoln :

Would really like him at CP but wages may be a problem.

Blundell is 32 in October...too old or good for this season until we move to the Christie Arena?

Abbot might want high wages but if it were me, I'd rather bring in Abbot and one full back this season than 4 new players.
