Hopefully that'll lead to more young players getting closer to the first team and the match day experience. I'm definitely behind the 7 subs idea.

it has worked well in the premiership and carling cup by giving some of the younger players a place on the bench when normaly they wouldn't get in the team also it give them a chance to prove themselves and show they have got what it takes to make it at this level

Does this mean that Accy will have a transfer embargo placed on them for the whole of next season ?.

It looks like it will take them all of the comming season to repay what they owe HRMC, and in the article it says " under the new system clubs will not be able to deal in the transfer market until their debt is cleared ". Not sure how that would work as they probably don't even have enough players signed up to put out a team at the moment.

work really well for us, get a young one on the bench, get rid of him, right back leaves (his best position) and look to sign another in that position. great!

When numbers are short, I can see a situation where a youngster or two who had been playing in the morning for the youth team, finding themselves on the bench for the frist team in the afternoon just to make up the compliment of seven subs.
