He doesn't need to put his hand in the till, he has the club tied in knots. He is a loan shark.

It was used to pay wages, taxes and other bills. It just meant that Jason didn't need to put as much money into the club to cover it's costs/losses. Clearly Derek saw nothing of it, or very little, given the signings he made and the players he shipped out in January.

The Trust can only follow the direction of the majority of its members. At the moment, that majority if 'carry on as before'. If The Trust took a different approach, then that would be undemocratic, and the majority would rightly have cause for complaint.
Similarly, The Board. They have a legal obligation to the company. They can't support a boycott, even if they privately share the views of NaPM campaign. They are completely stuck. Their only option is to resign their position, but what would that achieve? Who would replace them? Whittingham puts his own Board in place, and they asset strip the club even quicker, leading to the club going out of business, but with everyone blaming The Board for resigning? They are between a rock and a hard place.

That's who the Trust are representing, then. If people who want something radical, can't even be bothered voting, then really, how interested are they? The Trust has to represent those older members too.

but it was only a small percentage of member’s who could actually be arsed voting, many who voted i guess are older fans who were watching Morecambe FC in the 70s, 80s, 90s and will just go with what Rod says
and be quite happy to watch us play the likes of Cockleshell Bay and away trips to Button Moon.

All have used the sentence "the closest we've been to a sale"
That really doesn't mean the sale is any closer does it?
