A season of moments

A season of moments

Well, it's been a strange season of lows and highs. What's been everyone's highlights or top moments? For me:

Beating Bradford in the FA Cup
First home league win against Tranmere
Walking to Stamford Bridge singing Morecambe songs amongst thousands of Chelsea fans. Staying behind to wonder if we'd ever see a ground like this again?
Dallas brace and Dackers unbelievably scoring against Fleetwood
Angol grabbing a goal in injury time whilst in the beer queue. The believe was on everyone's faces
Back to back wins against Swindon and Cheltenham. The great escape was briefly on
The whole crowd chanting against Jason as we slipped out of the league following six defeats on the trot

It's been a tough season but glad I still experienced a lot of it. UTS

Yesterday's final 5 minutes of EFL football when the stadium seemed to?join as one to acknowledge theirheroes for one final time THIS season.

Gave me confidence that the majority will continue to be at games in the National League especially our superb younger fans.

The younger fans will follow the tide, if the tide is going out, well they won’t be sailing up Regents Road. The older fans will do as they want what ever way the tide flows.

Yes your right the fan where superb, it’s going to be a long 3months, we just need the sale to go through.

Highs for me....

Chelsea away

Beating Bradford at home

Atmosphere at Chesterfield

Lows for me...

Losing 0 1 at Gillingham and 8 hour train journey home

Losing football league status

Losing lots of players through injury quite a few at the same time

Best:- Our comeback at home to Colchester to draw 3-3 and getting our first point, it gave us hope.

Laughable:- The standard of the officials

Lamentable:- Losing 15 times 1-0, or was it 16?? Stopped counting at 10!!

Proudest:- The fans all season home and especially away, goodness knows we suffered but we backed our team.

Worse:- Any of so many!! failing to control the ball, lose possession and the opposition getting a goal

Most recurring:- Hoof ball.

Realisation:- The point at which we said on the way back to the car, “We’re not good enough”

Hurtful:- Whittingham dragging our Club down.

Hopeful:- The storm will pass and calm will resume.
