Barrow have arranged three more pre-season friendly games, taking the total so far to six.

Barrow will play Morecambe, of League Two, at Christie Park on August 1. The Bluebirds will also go to lower league outfits Penrith and Witton Albion, both in July.

Negotiations are at an advanced stage with two high-profile clubs for further home friendlies.

Confirmed games: Sat, July 11 Furness Select (H) 3pm; Tue, July 14 Lancaster City (A) 7.45pm; Sat, July 18 Doncaster Rovers (H) 3pm; Tue, July 21 Penrith (A) 7.45 pm; Thurs, July 23 Witton Albion (A) 7.45pm; Sat, Aug 1 Morecambe (A) 3pm.
