FOWLER LOOKING AT SHRIMPS MOVE!!!

Postby PUNKISDEAD » Sat Jun 06, 2009 7:03 pm

A workmate of mine was in a Japanese eatery last week and swears he saw Robbie Fowler gazing into a fishtank for what seemed like ages, he also said he saw someone who looked like christies child ,gazing in through the window, in a furtive, stalking like manner, furiously jotting down the same sum, over and over, 2+2=5 :!: :!: :!: :!: :!: :!: :!:

could be a good move a big name like that, with the all the attention should cause a lot of local interest and bump up attendances

plus give us a bit more pulling power in attracting new players, worth paying up to £3000 a week on a 1-year contract

or a standard contract with goal bonus?

please be more specific in your sarcasm?, as R Howe was on a reported £2.500 a week, and when i refer he's a big name, obviously he's not the player he was 10yrs ago

I don't recall that figure ever being mentioned on SVs as what we were contributing towards his salary.

As for Fowler...we've as much chance of getting him as Geraldine Smith has of making the Cabinet one day..........but then again :?: :?: :?:

You do realise that Fowler has only just moved to Austrailia this summer to sign for Queensland Fury, so i don't think he will be coming home to England any time soon!
Plus he'll probably be on the A-league's designated players list which means they will fit into a bigger wage budget like they do in the MLS for players such as Barros Schelotto, Claudio Lopez and David Beckham

i do know , i aint stupid, the first comment was a joke whereas yours seemed pretty serious so it's more like the "smart ass" in actually believing he would come to us!
