Stadium Groundworks update

The groundworks are proceeding at a hell of a pace.

Yesterday (Friday) the early signs of the road leading into the site where being marked out. To the left of the site as you look at it from Westgate, the security fencing (similar to that currently at the rear of the Christie main Stand) had been installed to the full length of the outer perimeter.

Hard core has been put down to an area adjacent to the housing on the right.

The site itself has been almost completely levelled around the actual stadium area which has seen the playing area raised to take it above sea level I assume.

By the end of next week I would expect the circulation road around the actual stadium to have been marked out ready for the next stage of the ground works.
