This 4 3 3 suits us, a formation I have never seen Derek play before.

Derek may try it again against Newport but I doubt whether he'll risk it against the top teams. It does, however, show that we have the right players to adapt to different styles now.

but thing is, we wont stay up just playing 1 upfront, its wins and 3 points a game we need to stay up, and Derek knows it.

There was a bit of a rumble in and around The Hurley Flyer....the road was blocked for a time with police vehicles while they dealt with it. The couple of mounted police did a cracking job.

Never known Fleetwood of late not wanting to cause a bit of a fuss, go back to the 70s and the would probably run a mile.
I told two police officers something was going on in the Hurley Flyer’s grounds, they looked at me, looked at each other, looked at a scuffle and just stayed on the road just off the pavement, with a clear view of it.
Mind you one was a giant of a man, so they must have radioed for help, hence police cars zooming past the caravan site off the railway bridge.

Excellent result and performance from all those involved.

Hope DA sticks with that formation from now in but somehow think he will show a wee bit of caution away from the Maz.

So pleased for the new lads but especially Dackers who finally got his first goal for the club.

His celebration and tearful response was magic.

:) :) :)

Chuffed to mint balls for the lad...let's hope it gives him the confidence to bag a few more...
