These next 7 games will define our season....

Swindon (a) 22nd

Tranmere (a) 19th

Grimsby (h) 7th

Cheltenham (a) 16th

Bromley (h) 20th

Carlisle (a) 21st

Salford (a) 14th

Tough ask but personally we need 10 points from these games to stay in touch for the 2nd half of the season

We have to pick up some wins before New year and in our next 6 league games 10+ would do nicely. I think we also need to progress in the FA Cup also, which will bring in more founds to the Club.

Now if we can do that and throw the money we have won already (hopefully with a bit more in the third round), to strengthen our forward line for the second half of the season and I think we will be alright. (22nd or above, that’s all we have to do!).

Yesterday was another game if we had just got a goal we would have had a point, we could (conservatively) be 14 points couldn’t we, but we are not. We have to put that right.

Is the money won the Clubs, then if it is I hope the BoDs see that any money has to go to getting some new players in at the January transfer window, no ifs no buts, keep your fingers off it Jason.

That’s every single last penny, because we need to stay in League Two, if we don’t, unfortunately I fear the future will be very rocky, even more than it is now.

These games will really show whether we are [as I think] in a false position, having played most of our games against top ten[ish] sides, or, nailed on for relegation? We could quite reasonably pick up IRO 16 points from the seven games, and all will be comfortable. Or, we could pick up five, and be planning for National League before the January transfer window becomes an issue.

So how did that work out then?

Next 7 games are massive if we don’t get something out of them we will be cut adrift. We have to get points against these teams in and around us or you don’t catch them up, so in one way these seven games will go along way to defining where we will end up. It has to be 22nd or above, I dread to think what the future will hold if we fall out of League two.

That winning streak DA & DG keep going on about has to be now. A good 11+ points (not a massive ask out of 21!!) and then it’s about what the Club can and cannot do in the January transfer window and then being that little bit better in the run in to the end of the season.
