If he basically wants to keep the Club that earns him money, if he sacked the Board that does his job for nothing, he would have to pay other people brought in to do it, as they clearly wouldn't be Morecambe fans

Whittingham has it sewn up, he has every move covered. I know for a fact that the Directors have tried to out flank him but he has every base covered. We have a Board without any say in the takeover. They have had input but as our ex CEO said, they were just playing Estate Agents. It's hard to be too critical of the Directors because they have done an amazing job in keeping the club going and giving us an amazing few years. We have to remember that they are powerless and if Whittingham wanted to, he could get rid whenever he wanted.
