I think it might mean selected ties from the draw rather than selected for TV, but I hope it will be on the box!

Just been warching their 4 - 0 win from last round and they have a striker who is taller than Dackers which takes some doing

This is going to be a very very tough game (banana skin for sure) - i have watched quite a lot of national league south games and the standard is higher than people think

Cashman who plays up front for them will deffo have to be watched for sure

Their Owner has quite the story as well. Worthing player who was in a terrible accident and ends up buying the club after he gets an insurance pay out.

But, they are semi-pro. Agreed, it is a potential banana skin, but, professionals from two leagues higher *should* be able to defeat them reasonably confidently. That, of course, as long as they are professional!

Hopefully the BBC will see it as a potential banana skin too, and have us as a live game. Friday night would be a nightmare for fans, but since when have they been a consideration? So may as well have some extra cash please!

Someone on their forum is getting a little over-excited!

Unless he is in Australia in the jungle, Tyson Fury may be in attendance. He sponsors Morecombe FC and apparently does go to away games.

Letting "MorecOmbe" go, has anyone ever seen Fury at an away game? Not sure he's been seen at many home games either! Likely to go to Worthing???

Worthing a reasonable team by all accounts with a quick research on line, so two things we now score goals and we are starting to really gel more as a team. (The passing still needs to get better to some degree, don’t lose the ball with sloppy passing, it does my head in).
So while their fans seem pleased with the draw and are dreaming of an upset, I am pleased with the draw, I know it away, (again ) but it’s a great chance to get through and get our hands on £45,000 precious £s. Then a home tie, please , that gives us the chance to get to that 3rd round with the prospect of getting a big team.
If I have read it right we will then get another £35K on top of the 45K, for winning a second round game.
Perhaps TV money as well, all great income and I hope Derek gets his hands on it in January.

Plastic pitch as well.

No doubt DA will get the build up regarding training by making use of the plastic pitches at the College.

Good job Ellison is no longer with us as he hated plastic pitches....

No doubt they will have a look at us when we play at AFC Wombles on Tuesday next week.....and no doubt DA will have them watched using his extensive list of contacts.

No disrespect to Worthing but I think it's an awful draw in terms of the distance involved. Over five hours in a car, longer on a coach and the expense of an over night stay for the club. I've been to all but one of the away games so far this season but I will not be going to Worthing. I can't see us taking many more than 100 to be honest, simply because of the distance.

Think you're wrong about taking about 100.
BB coach being priced up today. New stadium for everyone.

It would be very hard for them if it was a Friday.
They've got a Tues night game next week away at Torquay which is a 8 hour round trip.
Home the following Saturday against Slough and to finish it off another long arse journey to Bath City on the Tuesday before the FA cup.
Are they still part time?
That would be a killer for them.

They are "semi professional" as we used to be.

Do their day job cos it pays more, then get a couple of hundred quid for playing.

Will be tough for us playing against a 6'7" bricklayer

I expect us to take at least 200 for a Saturday fixture.

....which includes zilch by train. I'd be surprised that even Hodgie has considered rail travel to and from Worthing as a possibility, and the cost is well off the scale of most folks affordability.
