Very well said. I remember all the criticism at the time, but agreed with most of what was said. I am now very optimistic with the new Trust board. For far too long the fans have been kept in the dark like mushrooms and basically told to "trust us" by the Board, an attitude accepted by the old Trust. It's been over 10 long years since PMG put the club up for sale and fans have been "encouraged" to stand by and just continue paying their hard earned money into the club with beggar all in the way of real information coming from the top (by that I mean owners, board and trust!). Over those 10 years, it's been one dodgy "potential" owner after another, along with some actual dodgy owners. Fans deserve a proper flow of information and a proper mouth-piece to challenge the Board and owners when necessary. Personally, I feel that for far too long, there's been a kind of "those in the know" inner circle of people pally with directors, management and staff who've been party to insider knowledge that hasn't been publicly available on a "nudge nudge wink wink" basis, which is very unprofessional. About time there was a proper medium of communication between the fans and the ownership/management.

The Shrimps Trust was successful in getting our plight onto the radio, perhaps they can do the rounds again. The main steam football broadcasts seemed Intrested in our story, (nightmare ownership), I think it’s about time they run our story again.
Panorama, the Investigating documentary programme on BBC would be great exposure.
If anyone from the Trust reads this, write to them, you never know!!
We are not the only ones this is happing to and it a disgrace to our national game, it all needs exposing.

Why don't you contact them directly yourself? There are enough contact addresses in their message.

Blunt and to the point, you could do it yourself as well. I do think it will be better coming from the Trust, that’s all I was saying, but I will and I hope you do for pointing out it doesn’t have to be the Trust.

I read the above message which was originally sent out by e-mail to members and couldn't help be impressed by their approach to the issues involved and their communication skills in keeping trust members briefed about developments. A very well done to Tarnia for being a driving force behind all this plus the other members of the trust board for taking responsibility in moving things forward.

Sorry I meant why don't you contact the Trust yourself. We don't even know if anyone on the Trust even uses Shrimpsvoices.

That’s ok Old Man Kensey, just at odds with what we each put, but I think we, along with the vast majority of Morecambe fans, just want Jason to do what he says.

Anyway I’ve emailed Panorama themselves, all I can say is I got an automated response, that says every letter and email is read.

If anyone from the Shrimp's Trust does read what’s put on here and thinks my idea is a reasonable one perhaps they will re-contact radio and TV stations about Morecambe’s plight.
