Ban or regulator o/t or not

No they haven't actually said it, but UEFA have cautioned that England could be banned from it's own home euro's if the government implement the suggested football regulator, supposedly to stop political interference in sport. If this was to go ahead what would we as fans prefer. Opinions.

Have UEFA said 'why' they don't want a Football Regulator? Is that because they are so corrupt, they don't want any scrutiny?
