Yeah, there's a comedy night this Friday apparently.

Maybe Jason will make an appearance

That would drive the crowds in. Have an auction with the potential buyers in the room who can fly through an EFL test.
Start the bidding at £500K

A fairly new looking Trust Committee meeting up on Sunday for a strategy day.

Maybe we'll learn something after that?

And maybe we won't

We need to support the trust- they are our best hope in a grim situation. We fans need to stick together in our efforts to save our beloved club.

I was in jb's after the match on Saturday, there was a singer in the corner and I witnessed an unhappy supporter tell the bar staff he shouldn't be there until 7pm.This gentleman said he wanted to chat to his mates not have to shout over live music, adding i'm off to the hurley flyer and won't be back!! Can't do right for wrong with some fans.
Don't worry be happy!

Can't do right by some folk.

Club tries to encourage post match trade but there will always be some who can't see how the club need extra revenue .

If I ruled the world... I'd have a 'happy hour' in JB's directly after the match, for one hour, then, following it, another 'happy hour' upstairs, with band/singer up there. That way, fans can go in JB's bar while people are leaving the ground, avoiding people going in different directions on the stairs. Perhaps show the game again on the screens. We can make better use of the space and hopefully keep fans spending. Get the price of drinks set right, so a bit more than other places, but not so much that people leave. Even keeping a couple of hundred people behind, drinking would surely be worthwhile? Make it all part of 'the experience'. Food served upstairs during that 'Happy Hour'.

Obviously, if there is an event on, that wouldn't happen, but also, wouldn't be needed, as there would be customers anyway.

Perhaps The Trust could contact the EFL to confirm those are the rules?

How have we as fans let this drag on for 2 years without nothing more than a walk on the prom and some emails? We have been fed rubbish for years now from all angles and we have lapped it up.

My immediate thought, too. Looks like they are trying to blame the EFL, for their own bull****. Telling us if the appropriate paperwork has been submitted to the EFL & when, can't be a breach of confidentiality.

I have just e-mailed The Trust suggesting that they contact the EFL directly on this.

Because there is nothing we can do when your dealing with Whittingham except to turn up and support the team on match days.

The Trust said that they will organise a meeting with members regarding what the next action should be.
In my opinion it should be invite Jason to the Trust meeting to answer questions from the fans.
If he fails to show.
We visit him

By this I assume you mean we assemble outside his house. I think that this is the only thing that would really grab the media attention and put pressure on him and the EFL. It MUST be a peaceful protest in order to avoid clashing with the law and the police. Even if JW were not there, which is likely as we would have to give prior notice to the police and press, it would still put a lot more pressure on than another protest in Morecambe.

Yep
Contact Southend Trust and see how they achieved it.
Peaceful is the way to do it as you said. Lots of banners and press there.
It's the only way to go now

Is there not an opportunity for a demonstration of some sort on Monday at Fleetwood away? Take those for sale signs into the away end for the sky cameras to see, it's the most media coverage and eyes on us we'll have had for a while.
